William Hale

To celebrate the release of William Hale's debut album "The Book of Winter Fireworks", we are proud to present a five part behind-the-scenes mini - documentary series about the making of the album.




  • Part I
    The Temple

    In this part, we see singer / songwriter Lucas William Hale Van Scoy in the theatre of an old Masonic Temple recording the initial vocal and acoustic guitar tracks, some of which were cut from the final album. Featured songs include "Holy Sight" and "Prisoner of Sound".

  • Part II
    Terra Hill Farm

    In this part, we see band members Lucas William Hale Van Scoy (singer/songwriter), Stephen Clark Phelps (guitar/bass), Timothy Oakley (drums), and Maxim Van Scoy (drums) set up and record at the Terra Hill farm house. Featured songs include "The Body", "Gates of Infinity" and "Pressure".

  • Part III
    Balancing The Silo

    In this part, we see Lucas William Hale Van Scoy (singer/songwriter) recording vocal tracks inside a farm silo. Featured songs include "Sudden Autumn" and "The Balance".

  • Part IV
    Caverns of Coal

    In this part, we see Lucas William Hale Van Scoy (singer/songwriter) recording "Caverns of Coal" in a barn.

    Winter Fireworks

    In this part, we see Lucas William Hale Van Scoy (singer/songwriter) and Timothy Oakley (drums) recording simultaneously, whilst in separate locations. The featured song is "Winter Fireworks".
