Recorded on a farm in Cambridge, New York, the album fuses a more traditional acoustic folk style with a heavy electric guitar driven sound. Produced by Timothy Oakley of Phantogram, the album features notable guests such as Daniel de Jesus of Rasputina and Donna Baird of Sgt. Dunbar & The Hobo Banned. William Hale is headed by singer/songwriter Lucas William Hale VanScoy who regularly performs solo or accompanied on stage with Jared Phelps (electric guitar), Stephen Phelps (electric guitar and keyboard), Alicia Macier (violin), Jared Mac Duff (bass), Maxim VanScoy (drums and percussion) and Timothy Oakley (drums and percussion).
